TIS has completed many large scale central control systems projects. Our systems have also included weather stations, soil moisture sensor systems and remote access and operation via smart phone or tablet. Irrigation central control systems enables the programming, monitoring, and operation of irrigation systems from a central location. Central control systems are designed to allow a user to control a single site or a set of sites from a single computer. Central control software allows the water manager to set up programming to automatically control satellite controllers or two-wire decoders which operate the irrigation valves. A central control system can monitor and adapt system operation and irrigation run times in response to conditions in the system or surrounding area. (weather conditions, pipe breaks, etc.). The system will also provide historical data to allow analysis and reporting of what ran when, how much water was used, and field problems. There are a variety of systems to match the needs of the customer, budget, site, or application. TIS have been involved in designing and constructing water playgrounds including hydraulic components including PLC system control of playground, motor pumps, water filtration and treatment, balance tanks, distribution pipework, water play nozzles and features. Robelle Domain, Springfield The 24ha Robelle Domain in Springfield Queensland is the award winning core of the Springfield Central Parklands, a central open space corridor that connects the community of Greater Springfield and provides more than 11 kilometres of boardwalks, walking and cycle tracks, sports fields and playgrounds. TIS was engaged to design and construct a fully automatic irrigation system for the parklands which is linked to the Ipswich City Council Hunter IMMS Central Control System. TIS also installed the pumping, water treatment and control system for the popular water playground and the cascading water feature on the Western Boundary of the parklands. Water Features & Fountains

TIS has been involved in the design, construction and ongoing maintenance of some of Brisbane’s most iconic and much loved water features and fountains including the Emma Miller Fountain, the historic 10 metre high Mooney Memorial fountain, first constructed in 1877 at the intersection of what is now Queen & Eagle streets, and the China Town Mall Fountain. Brisbane Airport Link Greenwall At a cost of $4.8 billion, Airport Link is Australia’s largest ever infrastructure project. TIS were awarded the challenging contract to complete the rainwater harvesting, pumping, irrigation and control system to maintain the impressive 155 metre long and 10 metre high Greenwall at the Toombul tunnel entry/exit. This is the largest Greenwall in Australia. This challenging project required TIS’s significant project and construction expertise to complete the job on time and on budget. The project involved: Rainwater harvesting and storage tank system Grundfos constant pressure pump station Automatic fertigation system Water efficient drip irrigation system to each of the 17,222 plants Remote and precise control of the pumping and drip irrigation system via a IRRINET control system Due to the unique nature of the project and because of the varying sun exposure and air flows over each section of the wall very specific watering of the Northern/Southern/Upper/Lower sections of the greenwall were required. Working closely with the client TIS has provided a water efficient system capable of sustaining the greenwall in first class condition in a demanding environment. Mining Infrastructure & Vehicle Washdown

You can rely on TIS expertise to design, supply, install and maintain mining infrastructure and vehicle washdown facilities. Mining Infrastructure Works TIS’s mining infrastructure projects include: Subsurface Effluent Dispersal Systems – Can be linked directly to the site STP (Sewerage Treatment Plant). These systems can be controlled by PLC incorporating tank level sensors, pressure sensors and soil moisture sensors for complete automatic operation. Pump Stations – Bore, transfer and “fast fill” water truck fill system and transfer pump. Storage Tanks – For storage of treated effluent and harvested bore water. Vehicle Washdown Facilities High pressure cleaning system with integrated water recycling system. Telemetry and Instrumentation – Remote monitoring of bore water depths, soil moisture, pump pressures and status as well as other operating parameters. Irrigation – Camp, sports field and other recreation area irrigation using recycled and harvested rainwater. The vehicle washdown system is designed to provide a low maintenance, straightforward, water efficient vehicle wash down facility to clean site vehicles of dirt, mud and to also provide vehicle weed and seed control. Washdown water from the cleaning bay is treated by our water recycling system to remove the majority of the petrochemicals and silt from the return water and is then dosed with chlorine to allow storage in the recycled water tank ready for reuse through the facilities high pressure cleaners. Depending on seasonal evaporation we are achieving a minimum of 85% water reuse efficiency from the facility.
