This recently completed project at Four Mile Pump Station in Hervey Bay has delivered a sustainable, efficient and reliable water supply to the surrounding farms.
The recycled water pump station involved the construction of a fully automatic pump station drawing water from the adjacent, recycled water 20 megalitre dam.
Incorporating Southern Cross centrifugal pumps, a Netafilm automatic filtration system and integration with the Valley Pivot irrigators on the surrounding properties, the system is capable of delivering up to 110 litres per second on demand.
By providing this permanent, reliable water supply, the surrounding land owners have security of water supply allowing them to maximise their activities and efficiencies.
The results speak for itself. Well done to the TIS Project team.
